I have been searching all over online and can not find out how to set the radio presets or the time. Everywhere I look it says to hit set button and I dont have one. I would love to hear/ try any ideas Ive been trying to set this for hours and I know its something stupid there are only a few buttons and its an old 1984 radio.

If it doesn't have a set button I think you manually tune to station you want and press and hold the button you want to preset until that station shows there. As far as the clock goes I think you hold in the knob that displays the time or station (volume or tune knob) and set with seek and or scan buttons.

thanks for the suggestion but already tried that, and just double tried. Any other ideas? if I hold the preset button it just constantly moves back to that station, if I try changing the station while holding it just instantly moves back to the set station. As for setting the time ive tried multiple different combinations of buttons with no luck, no minute or hour buttons and volume/ seek and scan doesnt do anything

It was pull seek/scan for time but also pull 1-4 for presets as well instead of push and hold.

Thanks for sharing the solution, I learned something. I don't ever remember pulling to set them. Guess I'm getting old.

does that work on a 88 I disconnect the battery so many times don't even try to reset

Don't know , I put C5 radio in mine (no dash mods).
