Hi, newbie here from NZ. I have just become the owner of a 350 C3 Vette and I'm working my way through a list of things that may or may not need fixed or changed. One of these is the engine breather hose which comes from the LH valve cover and is then connected into the vacuum hose that goes to the brake booster. Seems to work okay but I've never seen this done before. The aftermarket air cleaner has the port where the hose would have gone sealed off. Anybody know if this mod with the breather hose is acceptable practice? The engine is not original and as far as I can tell started out life in a 1975 truck.

I assume it has a QuadraJet? Normally the brake booster hose connects to the rear of the carb and the PCV to the front of the carb. In the end it really doesn't make any big difference but G.M. preferred to keep the brake booster hose dedicated................
