I own an 86 coupe which has 16" rims. I can not find any chrome rims to fit it, only 17". Can I put 17" rims on my car?

Had to go to 17's on my 87 targa top.
Only 16's X 9 1/2 I found was in Japan @ $900.00 per wheel.
Found 17" CCW's and they fit fine.Car looks like it's on stilts but a lowering kit will fix that.

The aftermarket make 17" wheels with the correct 38 mm offset to fit 84 - 87 cars

Maybe some 11" for the back while you are at it? :thumbsup3:

Another ( cheaper ) option is take off 17" wheels from a later C4 or C5
Bolt up fine but have a different offset so you need adapters for them to sit right in the guard
