NOTE: I will say right off the bat that we had problems with the boost controller on the dyno with the STS car but it was fixed after dynoing the car. So ignore things above 3500 RPM. Look at the torque values at the low end and you can decide. Both were tuned optimally off the low end.

Now they will both make good HP at the top end. We plan on re-dynoing the STS kit in the near future so we can see a representative HP comparsion as well.

Do you recommend using the Alky systems on all turbo'd applications?

Just out of curiosity - what methanol kit was on the STS sytem? Was it the Alky Controls kit and EBoost2 on both? In all honesty those numbers are lower than what we have generally seen. I will look for a dyno here but maybe there is an STS owner out there who could offer some third party perspective.

I went with the APS kit for several reasons. The quality of this system is second to none. I am running 8 lbs of boost and getting 529HP/548RWTQ. The system is clean and I have taken the car on a couple of 1,000 mile trips without any problems.

Both had the Alky Controls Meth kit and the EBoost2 boost controllers. It's about as apples to apples as we can get without installing both turbo kits on the same car.

Only if you are going to run more than 7 PSI boost on a stock engine.

We made more than that bone bone bone stock with base tune and regular pump gas etc... hhhmmmm.... I need to post some dyno sheetz with mods during each run... It is hard to beat the unique set up, sound and performance that STS brings to the table whether it is in a stock or wild build. APS does make a good product and there are a ton of forced induction venues to go with. But after 25k+ miles on the STS kit I am a fan, from the stock days to our crazy built present, it has been fun.

25,000? You all really drive the hell out of that Vette. So where are some new vids? Didn't you all just put a larger set up in that a few months back? Any new video's?
