I'll take the simplicity and reliability of my 454" powered '71 any day. High tech is nice but it comes at a big price and it's getting to the point in which even the simplest of repairs must be done at a dealer.

naw, too much car, not enough driver lol. Scary part is to read the article and they say the tire hit the lip of the road. If this happened with what we would think is a qualified test driver what is Johnny customer going to do? "Here's your new Corvette, now one thing you don't want to do is" hopefully it was just a fluke incident otherwise I see a big recall.

I agree about the repair expense, but come on! I love the classic Vettes, don't get me wrong, but if I intend to take a turn at high speed, I prefer technology over vintage.

sure the new tech Vettes are good in the corners ,,,but you can always upgrade a classic with newer tech suspension and steering,, maybe you can t easily do computer assisted stuff like Traction Control,Skid Control, Launch Control, but it will still stick in the corners at speeds that will thrill you ..My buddies at Duntov have a C2 and a C3 race car that would give it some competition on a track,,,watch Edward s video in a race http://www.duntovmotors.com/race-videos.php . I like to have both versions, Classic and new ....the C7 is an impressive car , bad test driver not withstanding
