I am looking to sell my numbers matching 71 454 auto. It is Brands hatch green with dark sadle interior. I am the third owner and have the original invoice and both pink slips for the car. The car runs and drives but could use a good restoration. It also needs a U joint in the rear. I have too many projects going to just let this set in a corner and collect dust. Asking $20,000. Email me for pics or any more information.
bergs85vette@aol.com SOLD... Thanks for all the help. Last edited by bergsvette; 04-29-2013 at 03:11 PM. |

90+ views and not one request for pictures? If the $ is the problem I am willing to hear reasonable offers.

vette Ex is right, many of us have multiple Corvettes.. while yours sounds interesting, $20K for a 71 needing restoration sounds a bit high.. maybe in line where you live, but here, , not so much... now if it was a 454/425HP,Alum head engine, LS6,, different story... surprised you haven t gotten any interest tho.. good luck, be patient

I do think the economy has a lot to do with it. Your car sounds nice. I am forced to agree though, $20k for a non turn-key car needing some resto might scare away those who are faint of heart. Be patient- tax refunds are in the mail, and Spring and Summer are around the corner.
On another note, I am looking for a clean, unmolested, and dependable '76 or '77 or '78 or '79 stock w/auto (I know, auto car is not for me- but will be in the family). If any know of one in the St Augustine FL area please PM me.GLWS. |

I would gladly send someone pics to put up here. And other than the U joint the car is turn key. The guy I bought the car off of failed to include the info about the U joint. I found that on my first drive. But the car is def. a 5 to 10 ft car. Looks perfect from there. The pics would show that it is a good car just needs refreshed.
