in a bit of a crisis, need urgent advise on rear end comparability

I have a 1976 auto l48 on the maintenance block. Just before I put it into storage the rear started making some funny noises and I also had rust holes in the swing arms..

I found a suitable replacement, a complete rear suspension and axle from a 72 as of this morning.. But I have no proof it will or wont bolt into the 76.

Any input would be urgently appreciated as im picking it all up tonight.

yes it will fit .. differential is same til the 1980 Dana came out .. trailing arms from mid 6o s til 82 fit ...by the way, if you post in Gen Discussion , you ll get more responses

Great thanks, I thought it was all similar. Got the whole rear caliper to caliper for 300. Will make a beautiful swap once its all ready
