160 degree thermostat?

What are the benefits of a 160 degree thermostat i have a hand held tuner that i can have fan come on sooner isn't that same effect?

...a 160* t-stat will not "make" your car run 160*..it merely establishes the minimum temp your motor will run ...thats it........if you reset fans to come on earlier, then the thing will run where you set it..but theres no benefit for it.. you want COLD AIR, not a cold motor

the best thing to do is buy a good radiator , the stock one is a joke.
