Has anybody installed tall valve covers? If you did you most likely noticed that the wiper motor is in the way? Do they make a smaller compact motor to replace it that saves space? If not any ideas on how to make it work?

is the 84-87 wiper motor larger than the 88-96 wiper motor and if so does it bolt up to the firewall the same?

My 90 is the same unit as my 87 and 89
Most common solution is to get the cover modified ( $$$) like they do for Alt clearance with tall covers on a LT1
O buy steel tall covers and massage the rear of the cover with a hammer ( can't be seen ) as I did with the 383 in my road car
