Hey guys,I was looking at the mirroe mounts for my Escort radar to fit my C-6 mirror,well because it has the mirror with Onstar ,compass and all that other Chit this one would not work I made one of these and it works wonderful. I took and old Stop sign I had laying around looked at the pictures, Made a cardboard version for measurements and then cut one out of metal afixed the body tape to it and the clip for the radar detector and mounted,worked great.

No,I already spent $46 on one mount that didn't work,the one I made works perfect and cost nothing.

I hear ya, thought this is fairly new to the market and is specifically made for c6's. Ton's of blendmout owners are very happy with it. Hell, anything is better than those damned suction cups lol.

I'll be picking up a Redline Escort along with a blendmount this spring. Getting one for my daughters Dodge Ram as well.

I still have that first radar mount if you can use it,it is made to fit most standard mirrors and is well made.

No,this mount for the Escort ,I'm sure it will fit anything except my GS. pretty simple system and quality parts.

Hmm, I'll have to pass, but thanks anways. I'm sure that as the driving season approaches, more folks will be looking for mounts.

I think Blend mount is the best mount. because its gives you a good performance and a good grip on the mirror. I am experienced with it and its very good and never comes loose. I haven't see anything better then it and you should try it.

Authetic blendmount's run over 100.00, did you buy it used? If you paid 46.00 for a new blendmount, then in all liklihood, it was a knock-off, which would explain why you weren't happy with it.

That's what I'm hearing as well. The suction cups gotta go lol! I'll be ordering 2 actually, 1 for me and 1 for my daughter.
