I have a 1986 Corvette. How do you wire in a 350 small block carb engine? Thanks for your opinions, but car is this way when I purchased. I have diagrams, but I need it explained and detailed how to wire it up and what goes where. I appreciate the positive helpful posts on this forum, and really want to get this car going a little better.

Pink wire from old HEI goes to the coil for Ign ( need a non comp controlled dist with vac advance)
purple wire stays on the starter Wires to gauge senders stay That is all you need to make the engine actually run ....................................... But because the now deleted computer controlled several items ,you need custom wiring for the fuel pump and rad fan ; also a switch to lockup the convertor if a auto
