Default LT-1 water pump.

Is the design so shitty??? I've changed out almost as many water pumps as I have opti sparks. Now I believe the damn thing is leaking again...it hasn't even been 3k miles since the last one....

Question

I have two Q's for you. 1. Did you use a factory pump? 2. Are you using Dex-cool antifreeze?

I would double check and make sure you dont have a leaking gasket and not a bad pump . Try to see if it is coming out the weep hole

Remember that at least 4 of the mounting bolts go all the way into the water jacket. If you don't use thread sealer on them they will leak. Just a little dab of RTV is all you need to put on them.

Dexcool has a tendency to leak past gaskets and seals.
