I have the clutch slave replaced at 14k miles on my 2005 vette. At less than 200 miles after the repair, the fluid was black. I replaced the fluid with the Ranger method, and after another 400 miles the fluid is black again.
Is this common or should I bring it back to the shop. Any idea what the problem could be? |

If it was 200 easy miles (e.g. most shifts at or below 3k), I would go back just to let them know this is happening and preserve any warranty claims that might occur down the road. If you're out joy riding or drag racing, the result is not uncommon. Eight 1/4 mile passes at the track is enough to blacken the fluid on some of these cars.
