Default Power windows on a 75

Both windows go up and down like a rocket, but they only go up to within 1 inch from the top. Is there a stop that needs adjusting?

Yes. Pull the door panel and look on the back side of each window track (the side facing into the car) near the top you will see a bolt, 7/16ths socket I belive. losen the bolt slide it up and retighten and check fit. can be repeated to adjust fully. do not remove the bolt its a PITA to get the stop out of the track and back to the top. Hope this helps

Yep, it takes a 7/16" socket and there are two stops; one in the front and one in the rear. Start by making little adjustments and then close the door and power it up. Keep on tweaking them until the glass just raises up against the rubber weatherstripping evenly on the front and rear. There are also adjustments to tilt the glass inward or outward using the same 7/16" socket.
