I've used the non-RF Pilot Sports and they were great tires. A lot of grip and little noise. Most anything Michelin puts out works well. With the A/S rating, you would lose some max-performance grip in favor of A/S performance. Unless you drive on the edge all of the time, you may not notice that much difference between the two. Bottom line, you'd more than likely be happy with these tires and you can't go wrong with Michelin.

The PS2 gets a good reviews from everyone. Only the price kept me from using them instead of the invos.

Default Michelin Tires

I replaced my Goodyear Eagles with the Michelin Pilot a/s....Like every other review I read when I was undecided....They are great tires....A huge inprovement over Goodyear....Handle better...Better sidewall...Better grip...
Buy them.

These are the only tires I have run. Nice, quite, but harder than the non rf and less traction IMO

On The Michelin Pilot Tires a/s, how many miles do they last? are they a soft tire or a harder tire?

Mine came with a 45,000 mi warranty from Michelin. I've put 15,000 miles on them with no discernable wear. They are much better than the Goodyear RF tires in the rain and in cooler weather, but lose a bit in hot, dry conditions.
Mine see street use only.

I also have heard nothing but good things about them.I'm going with Firestone Firehawks in the spring myself. Also heard good reviews on them and they are way less then M's!

The only down side to the A/S runflats I switched to is I now get about 1.5 to 2 mpg less than I did with the stock GY. But quieter, better in the rain and should last much longer.. I'm satisfied.
