Rear defrost

Every time I turn on my rear defrost it draws a lot of volts. I have all ready replaced the alternator and the battery which stopped 90% of the draw of power. But it stills draws 2 to3 volts is this normal for the rear defrost?

the rear defrosters pull alot of current.. but its for a short period of time..I don t think you have a problem
