I have one. If you don't have room for a full size lift and don't want to bother with 220V then you should get one. Sitting down is not really an issue. I use mine all the time. I used it to do my clutch job on my 2000 C5 which involves removing the entire drivetrain and rear subframe. I find that I use it for much more than just wrenching. Even though your not supposed to mount it outside I do anyway. I wash and wax with it up in the air. So much more enjoyable to do it that way without bending over. Then I can clean inside my wheel wells and detail my wheels and clean my axleback mufflers and polish my exhaust tips etc. The nicest part about this lift is that you can unbolt it from it's mounting location when your finished using it and store it away. I usually leave mine up for an entire weekend and take it down Sunday night. Setup time is about 15 to 20 minutes. In the future, when I move to a different home I can take it with me and just plug the holes in the concrete with a little concrete patch. I have several pictures of it in action. If you PM me I would be happy to shoot them to you in an E-Mail.

I think that even if you do have the room, it'd nice to be able to get it out of the way. Would be hard to paint one with a 2 post lift in the way. I think I might would go with this one. Only $1399, 9000lbs and 75.5" lift. Thinking I may be able to weld a bottle jack on each post with a spring loaded wheels setup. Could unbolt it like above, jack the "landing gear" down, and roll it straight back against the back wall....

thats definitely an excellent price if its well built..I paid considerably more. but mine has an extension on posts and top bar and appears to be larger posts.. When I said I had room, I meant in a 28x32ft metal building.. .. if you guys have room and funds, you will never regret spending it on a lift!..and suddenly , more of your friends will be coming over...LOL!
