When checking Ecklers and similar pages, the Stinger hood is available '73-'81, but never to the older ones. I have a '71, it won't fit?

no, the 68-72 are short hoods with wiper doors.. the 73-82 are full length hoods

So why aren't they available for other years? The interest to make them has been too low, for some reason?

probably the wiper door makes the scoop stop before the cowl.. doesn t look right....you can buy just the Stinger scoop and attach to your hood

I am just afraid that if there's a good reason to not manufacture the hood in the first place, there's a good reason for me not to make it either.
