Went to start my C-5 and nothing.. The shifter feels very loose. Something break in the shifter???? It is automatic... Anybody had this problem before?????? Thanks for any help...

I recently had mine break while my wife was backing out at the Post Office... of course she immediatley turned the car off, then it wouldn t start or go into any gear, and was blocking the entire street..... check the plastic connector on the shifter cable , at the transmission s shift lever..thats what broke on mine..its above the exhaust, kinda hard to see or get at.. you will need to drop the exhaust pipe to get to it to replace cable, if thats where it broke..

Thanks so much for your answer I really had no idea where to go or what to check. Sure as heck checked it and it is that plastic part,, Now I know what I'm doing this weekend.... Again I thank you.
