2006 trans problem

I was backing out of a parking spot and heard a loud noise, i looked back to see if i hit something. the check engine light came on and is now stuck in 2nd gear. it is a stock base model with a 6 speed automatic. about 47,000 miles

I'm sorry you are having this issue. Have you taken your Corvette to your Chevy dealership to have this diagnosed?
