Really talking about a few products and tools to do the job.

As far as cleaners go, the need for a dedicated wheel cleaner is sometimes overstated. Unless the wheels are heavily contaminated all you really need to use is a pH neutral car wash shampoo and water with a quality boars hair wheel brush.

If you do have heavy contamination then be sure to use a non-acidic water based cleaner.

"Shine" is a bit of a subjective term... there are different ways to go about getting extra gloss out of chrome. The easy way is to use something like our Brilliant Glaze, but the effects are short lived as all you're really doing is putting a coat of gloss enhancers down. If you really want to get the most out of them they should be polished in which case a quality chrome/metal polish will bring out the best shine.

Lastly you'll want to protect them. Wheels see more abuse than any other surface of the car really. More heat, more debris impact, hot brake dust, etc. I recommend you use a synthetic sealant as they tend to provide the best protection. Our Quick Sealant as quickly become a very popular option for this.

I use the Mothers Wheel Mist Chrome/Wire Pro Strength Wheel Cleaner because it give me the brilliant shine and have non-acidic in order to protect the wheels' finish. It breaks up your toughest road grime to reveal clean, bright chrome and cast aluminum wheels.
