My 1984 vette head lights don't come on. The high beam indicator light is on, park lights are on and the fog lights are on. Checked service manual and it said the switch has a resetting circuit breaker built in when there is a short or overheats from a short. Anyone else have a problem like this please respond. I checked voltage at lamp connectors and I have voltage on both low and high beam wires. Should this be? It appears in the manual that it is either / or not both. If dimmer switch is bad would I be getting voltage at lamp connectors and if I have voltage at lamp connectors why are lamps out? The bulbs are good, checked direct from battery.
