looking to replace worn run flats,thinking of hankooks,but want to go larger in the rear have 17 in front 18 in rear w stock polished wheels,how big could i go?without isshues? might do fronts too? but keeping wheels,any info would sure help

I would ditch the run-flats..your car will drive and handle much better..if you increase only rear tire size, you will need to reprogram the ECM or the ABS /Trac light will stay on ..dealer can do that or with a handheld device ..

Depends on what you want out of the car, but I switched to Nitto Invos and now run 305/30/19 in the rear and 275/35/18 in the front. Any wider than a 305 in the back and it will stick out past the wheel wells and look silly (IMO).
