Default Help with 1995 Corvette

Trans wont up-shift under full throttle until 6000rpm even when manually shifting. Can shift points be reprogrammed?
Also interested in performance chip from autochipsdirect.com has anyone tried these chips or heard anything about them?

Does your transmission have a TV cable? If so it may be adjusted way too tight........................

Your shift points are adjusted via reprograming the computer. No TV cable. However, with the LT1 engine think it was originally setup to upshift at 6000............

I have a similar Diablo Predator for my C5, it works pretty good..you can change shift points, firmness, adjust for different tire sizes, reset cooling fan temps , upload performance tunes..do your own custom tune if you know what you re doing, etc. ..one question to OP ..why do you want it to shift at lower than 6000rpm at full throttle? do you think its hurting the engine?

red line is 5500 and power falls of after that. been on the drag strip and can tell it was way past power band. had it dynoed bone stock and power was droping off after 5500. max power 269.2 at 5000 rpm dropping down to 258.73 at 5500 dyno man wont go past red line but could see power dropping fast anyway. max torque was 295.44 at 4200 rpm. ran a consitant 13.8 at the track but know it would do better if it would shift sooner. i normaly race bike but have been grudge racing a couple friends so just learning about this tpi car. came across this site from ecklers and think it's great. any tips and info on what works or not would be greatly appreciated.

I do the high speed and autocross events, auto tranny, it bounces off the rev limiter often, I'm reading it right about 5800-6000 rpm.
I don't worry about like I used to.
Also race a bike, 2003 RC-51.
Good luck.
