aha, but was she 685LBS of pure mayhem ? and did you bore her cylinder ? perhaps stroke your crank? throw a rod and oil down the blacktop ? these are the things that keep me awake at night wondering about you fellas.....

In the picture with the cylinder heads off it appears it's not rebuilt because of the blackened piston tops. Did you just slap some new rings and bearings into it? When I tore into mine I found it only had about .002" taper and that was in the first 1/4" of top ring travel. By just glaze breaking it with my 3-stone Lisle hone the cylinder walls almost completely cleaned up........................

same here, we used the "dingleball hone", looks like a giant bottle brush....
