Non matching number block

Looking at a '71 stingray,new rebuilt engine, also has original number matching block. How much
value is lost by having an after-market block?

that would depend on the car...if its a rare edition,[LT1,ZR1, ZR2], it would make a big difference in value..... a base model car , not so much.. and if its an average condition car thats gonna be a daily driver, not much at all, in my opinion
