has any one used are know any one that has used the slr performance chip. sounds good but may not be. thanks ironhorse

Most tunes these days are flashed to the ecm through the obd port.

I'm new here but have been on LS1tech since 2001. All "chips" for LS based engines with ridiculous HP gains are snake oil. Like Freddy 2006 said, the ecm/pcm is flashed with either a handheld programmer(Diablosport predator,superchips, hypertech) or a laptop and tuning suite like LS1edit, HP Tuners etc. In an absolute best case scenario, a tune may net you 10-20hp rwhp on a stock, normally aspirated vehicle. Now a tune on a turbo engine can get you BIG gains
