Blowby pressure in crank case, check you PCV valve.

I have a 1990 and it's not a ton of oil but enough to get me concerned.

All you can do is check your PCV valve. If it's okay, then you may have a piston ring problem. How does your engine run otherwise? If it runs good and doesn't use much oil, I wouldn't worry about it.
