Doesn't Montana have no speed limit? I thought I remember hearing something about that?

MT Put the speed limits back at 70 after the death toll reached a limit back in 2000..

Yes it was, I used to run my R1 down the road passing cops sitting on over passes at or about 125 or so.. They only cared unless you were reakless.. that was the cops decion though.. The signs used to say Reasonable and prudent...
The law stated if the death toll raised above a certain limit from when the bill was put in then they woud change it back..

Everytime I get over to Germany I keep thinking that I would rather be in my Vette to see what she'll do. Rather I'm in a VW Golf or what ever I was able to rent

Depended on the officer. But they looked at your car and could it handle and sustain those speeds. (IE Vettes and Porches) Used to come out to MT to test there cars. I used to see all kinds of Proto Types running down the road.
So I guess if you were running a 100 MPH in a beat up ride then I guess it was reakless..
