Why no HUD in the C4?

Why didn't GM put the HUD in the later year C4's?My buddies '93 Pontiac Gran prix GT had it.

The early C4's should have them, they look like an F-16, the seats, the gauges but no HUD?????

I agree, with the cockpit feel of the C4 it would fit so well.

It might look cool in theory but there is just no more room to squeez much of anything else in the C4's dash. I even had problems fitting 4x6 speakers into an earlier dash where they claim they were supposed to go/fit. On the 84-90 drivers side there just isn't any place left that i can see???
