Keeping this famous phrase in mind is the reason why SmokinVette.com is the first Corvette Forum to launch a program call “SmokinBucks”. To simply put it, it’s a way to give back to the Corvette community.

With current economic conditions it’s a fact that consumers are holding onto their hard earned money waiting for the best deals they can find. Now at SmokinVette.com you the Corvette enthusiast can earn SmokinBucks for activity that you would normally be doing on a Corvette Forum. Posting a question? Answering someone’s question or just general discussions about Corvettes, you can now earn SmokinBucks that can end up saving you the Corvette enthusiast money on your upcoming mod purchases!

CONDITIONS FOR ACCESS AND USE

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROGRAM. “SmokinBucks” (hereinafter, referred to as “SB”) is to be officially launched on July 24, 2009, and to continue until SmokinVette® gives notice of termination nearing, but to not exceed ten (10) days upon tender of notice by endorser. SmokinVette® in conjunction with participating merchants, have agreed, to the launch of, of your benefit and use, SmokinBucks.

PARTICIPATING PARTIES

SmokinVette® is only an endorser, a “common portal solely for the exchange of information,” as such SmokinVette® does not promote, recommend, suggest or force any accessories or products of third parties to users and members of SmokinVette. Therefore, any and all representations seen herein are the result of customer advertisement on www.Smokinvette.com. SmokinVette® is not in the business of policing its clients’ advertisements, unless they are blatant and obviously misleading. Thereby, we respect their first amendment right of speech and generally allow such advertisements.

SmokinVette® management is the final arbiter of all claims of qualification as to SB’s rendered; e.g., what post/s will qualify for SB redemption.

Vendors, at all relevant times are purveyor of all goods and or providers services sold and or exchanged herein. Vendors are not associated with, affiliated, co-owned or partners in any way or manner with SmokinVette®.

Members/Participants, at all relevant times are current, registered and not banned or flagged from the site. Management reserves the sole discretion of participant/s’ membership rights and abilities. Management, at any time, for proper cause and or purpose, can and will terminate membership rights. Participation is not obligatory and members may opt out at any time. If member chooses to participate, member-participant SHALL conform to all rules and regulations of SmokinVette® as well as the rules engaged and proclaimed solely for the commencement of and execution of SB. Guidelines for participating in Smokinbucks:

1)We will be starting off with a three (3) month period as a test run.
2)Each member will receive $0.03 (three cents) in Smokinbucks per “qualified post”. A qualified post is four (4) or more words. Smileys and pictures by themselves will not count unless accompanied by four (4) or more words.
3)Each member will receive $5 (five dollars) in Smokinbucks per qualified new member referral. A new member referral becomes qualified once that person reaches 50 posts; at which time you will receive $5 (five dollars) in Smokinbucks.
4)Each member will receive $.10 (ten cents) in Smokinbucks per new qualified thread. A qualified thread has four (4) or more words.
5)Each member will receive $5 (five dollars) in Smokinbucks for their birthday
6)All Smokinbucks are to be used at any one of the “Vendors” here at Smokinvette®. The choice of which vendor is completely up to you.
7)The minimum amount of Smokinbucks one must attain in order to use towards purchasing an item(s) from a Vendor is $50 (fifty dollars).
8)The maximum amount of Smokinbucks one can earn in a qualified period will be $100 (one hundred dollars).
9)Member shall solely be responsible for claiming, filling and tendering all winnings as per the Tax code of your domicile.
10)If you reach the maximum limit during said qualified period, all additional posts will not earn any smokinbucks until you use the SmokinBucks that you have already in your possession of.
11)SmokinBucks are non-transferable.
12)After you have used your Smokinbucks, your account goes back to zero and you will start all over again.
13)The full price of the item(s) that you purchase from a vendor must be at least $200 (two hundred dollars); e.g., once you accumulate $50 (fifty dollars) in Smokinbucks you can then purchase any item from any Vendor on Smokinvette.com that costs at least $200 (two hundred dollars).
14)Once you have purchased the item/s, you must, within thirty-days (30) furnish to SmokinVette® proof of purchase (i.e., the original sales receipt or copy, and the UPC code from the box). Once conditions have been satisfied, and return period has been exhausted, SmokinVette will verify same with “Vendor” and send you a money order for the Smokinbucks you had at the time of your purchase with the “Vendor”.
15)There will be a 3 month time frame in which you will have to spend your Smokinbucks. If you do not spend your Smokinbucks in that time period your account will go back to zero. Examples are:
a.a) You reach $100 (one hundred dollars) in Smokinbucks and leave SmokinVettes for over 3 (three) months, your account will be reset to zero.
b.b) You reach $100 (one hundred dollars) in Smokinbucks and just leave it in your account while still posting, if at the end of the 3rd month you have not spent it, your account will go back to zero.
16)There will be no carry over Smokinbucks into the next or future period/s. For example: if at the end of the first 3 (three) month period you have only accumulated $37 (thirty-seven) in Smokinbucks, your account will go back to zero and you will start over again for the next 3 (three) month period. To reiterate, you must reach at least $50 (fifty dollars) in Smokinbucks in order to qualify and redeem your Smokinbucks.
17)SmokinVette.com® reserves the right to alter any of these guidelines as we see fit.
