Default Is it worth purchasing a line lock set up?

I would really only get it for doing a burnout here and there and I am going to take my Vette to the strip once in awhile. I think the line locks that I've seen are around $200 so it's not alot of $, what are your thoughts?

Seems like one should not need one just for that. unless you're planning some hellacious burnouts, and even then line lock isnt really neccessary in my opinion, but then again the boost can come on full at about 2100 RPM's for me Well even before the supercharger it was a blast and smokin tires....

It is certainly worth getting a line loc kit! There are many benefits to a line loc, when doing a burnout with out one you have to hold your brakes to keep the car still. This puts unneeded wear on your rear brake rotors and pads as you "power brake". In addition you will wear out your clutches in your rear end more quickly as your rear end fights the forces of your brakes.

Check out our custom c5 line loc kit, $220.00 is a cheap mod when it comes down to what all you spend on your car. No matter how much power you have this will make your burnouts easier, more controlled and safer

My buddy has a line lock from Fast firebird or something like that, he likes it alot but the quality on that system he says was not of "great" stature.
