They chrome Harley calipers all the time and they hold up OK. Calipers don't get as hot as the rotors.If you race on the track they might get blue but on the street not driving crazy I think they would be fine,,,You have to remember you have the pistons,rubber or viton seals and liquid brake fluid insulating the actual caliper from heat.

Brakes on a motorcycle are used a lot less than on a car. We tend to downshift to brake more than an automobile driver. A prime example is seen when coming down Pike's Peak on a bike. Car and trucks have to stop half way down so the rangers can check to make sure the brakes are not too hot. If they are, the cars and trucks are forced to wait and let their brakes cool off. Bikes are not even checked. They are waved right on by.
I bet chrome would look sick on mat black car with mat black wheels
