Is your choke disengaging properly? You could have a bad powervalve thats leaking fuel,or a powervalve thats too high for your manifold vacuum,opening at idle..your float levels may be too high, or not closing off needle and seat. too high fuel pressure..should be no more than 6psi at 2000rpm...what s in the motor
I have about 6.5. Psi, I have a feedthru Carb. Barry grant I dont know which powervalve I have. I will look and get back to this post. Floats. we did. But it is a pain to do. Dont know why they just dont have a sight hole that you need to play around with. Small glass sight I dont think would be real dangerous but maybe it is.
