I just picked up a 92 C4. The last owner replaced the distributer, water pump, coil, fuel pump and the car is not getting fuel. If you squirt starting fluid in the breather it fires right over and will run out the fluid.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
not sure if its a regulator, injectors or computer!
Could be a fuel supply problem , ( pump , regulator, fuel pressure )
a fuel delivery problem ( injectors )
or a elec problem ( no signal to the computer to fire the injectors )
More investigation needed
start by pressure testing the system to make sure you have correct fuel pressure available
Test your fuel pressure. My 86 should read 42+/- at the fuel rail, yours should be similar but look it up first. If you have good fuel pressure, than your problem is after the fuel rail, like injectors. Otherwise, I would start at the easiest and most likely; a fuel filter. When you put the key to the "on" position can you hear the fuel pump priming the system?
