will a tb coolant by-pass help along with a cold air intake, will it help lower intake charge temp, and will it afect cool weather driving or cause any drivability problems
I did this on my '93 when I had it. I knew better, but I did it anyway for sh*ts and giggles. It didn't make any noticeable improvement. The only benefit was that it made it a little easier to take off the TB for maintenance.
you will gain some horsepower but not much where you would notice it.however, cooler air and no hot fluid heating up your throttle body is a good thing....and everyone knows that cool or cold gas atomizes much better.every little thing like this adds up horsepower . do it to it. :thumbsup3:
.
I was suckered into that one years ago, never took it back off, still waiting for the HP increase, you think I should give up the wait?
