Hi Folks , How do you adjust a streached cable? I see a sticker that says see manual .But I don't have 1.

There is no cable adjustment unless you slot the holes in the mounting bracket.
Time for new cable edit The only throttle setup that is adjustable is if you have ASR ; there is a set procedure for doing it

![]() You can buy an end peice that will allow you to trim the cable through it to adjust length. I did that once only to have the cable snap inside the housing (where it probably started streching) a few weeks later. So the streaching just means that it is about to snap on you and you better replace it before that leaves you stranded some-where. |

I have ASR on mine ,But it says see manual for procedure,and I no longer have a manual

That was silly.
From what I am reading online there is a precise ASR setup procedure using a certain size drill bit to set the clearance
