some very ,very thick ones! in the neighborhood of 2.5 inches .. there is a huge difference in backspacing.. there are some C5 looking wheels made to fit C3 s in 17 or 18 inch
I know they claim to be safe even for performance applications,with the newer style offset wheels, but I would be very nervous the first time I dropped the hammer on my stroker from a dead stop.
I looked through some old pics and this was the best shot of a wheel adapter that I could find. The hub is bolted to the wheel adapter with open ended wheel lugs and red locktite and the adapter has wheel studs which the wheel is bolted to. Made of 6061 T6 billet aluminum, CNC machined with pressed-in studs and open end lug nuts included.
