I'll take the simplicity and reliability of my 454" powered '71 any day. High tech is nice but it comes at a big price and it's getting to the point in which even the simplest of repairs must be done at a dealer.
I agree about the repair expense, but come on! I love the classic Vettes, don't get me wrong, but if I intend to take a turn at high speed, I prefer technology over vintage. :friday:
naw, too much car, not enough driver lol. Scary part is to read the article and they say the tire hit the lip of the road. If this happened with what we would think is a qualified test driver what is Johnny customer going to do? "Here's your new Corvette, now one thing you don't want to do is" hopefully it was just a fluke incident otherwise I see a big recall.
Looks like one GM test drive will be looking for a new job lol
