Well I went to drive the 7 miles to the shop to get the vette in for opti and tune. Got 2 miles car was smoking under the hood and seems I blew a fuel pressure regulator. So mechanic is now concerned I had a gallon of fuel in my oil pan and I might of hydrolocked the engine. Tells me he cant get a short block and to rebuild the LT1 is crazy. The cars not worth that much.So I find out monday if the engine is dead or not. In the meantime I found me a 2000 a bit on the high side for mileage but its in great shape and a vert and the price is right.PLan is if the 94 is dead move into a C5 with an LS1 I hope I can get parts for and fix and kiss that damn optispark goodbye lol. The only prob is I really love my 94 looks. But I cant see spending all that for a car thats not worth much.

Well got the answer today the mechanic drained a few gallons of gas out of the oil pan let it dry over night went back and filled with shop oil and replaced the fuel regulator. He said it started and was smooth and quiet and strong. So it lives past the hydrolock. Next to drain and put the mobil one in.Also getting the opti and new plugs and wires done.I'm putting my love back into my C4.Now I got the mechanics traight I can go back to working on my interior. Cant wait I'm all gigly again.
