- i am a die hard do it yourself, i would rather try and fail then to pay someone else , i have had over 10 corvettes in my life, and have installed roots blowers on most of them, i have been blessed to have had so many expirences with vettes ive owned , most of them i have resurected from broken down and abused relationships with there former owners, right now i have a beautiful 40 year aniversary model bright red, with only 60,000 miles , and in the resurection mode with a 74 stingray that was an automatic, but i think a nice fuel injected 4 speed will do nicely,
