After big teardown of my car today...both of my fuel tanks are punctured from a profession auto trim shop who took it upon himself to use screws on the chrome seatback hoops. I had purchased the epoxy kit and had a conversation with him about NOT using screws. I guess the screw holes were just a little too temping. The 2 GM replacement tanks have to come out of Texas and list for over 1800.OO plus around 15 hours of labor. The cost will be around 2700.00 bucks. The whole rearend of my car had to come down and out to get to these tanks. If you attempt to do this install yourself or let a professional do it..please share this info and do not make this expensive and heatbreaking mistake. Use the expoxy kit only and do not let this happen to you.

Hey all, met SV at Carlisle and I am now a convert from CF. Didn't take too long to see the difference! Looks like a lot less political mumbo jumbo here.
Anyways, I almost got some AR headers at the event but held off as I saw the Kooks set up there. Now Kooks was a tad bit more but I know Kooks has been around for a long *** time with a great rep.
My question is two parted, first what if any would be the differences in the two and secondly do I get 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 for a LS1 with a cat back and cold air installed? Thanks!

I spent all day Saturday at Carlise griping at the Corsa guys about how stupid it is that they don't offer the Extreme exhaust with the tiger shark tips :soapbox: They explain to me that they think it was a tuning issue with the way the pro tips split in a "y" but the tiger sharks tips branched off like an "F". :yoda: They tell me to forget about the looks because the Extreme will sound better than my touring setup. I listened to a stock C5 get started and revved for about 4 hours, and it didn't sound that much better than mine so I figured I didn't need spend the money. So I drive all the way home (160 miles) :loser: and I'm wathcing the UFC on Saturday night, and I keep thinking about what a great deal they offered. So I wake up early Sunday, drive all the way back up there :burnout: and buy the exhaust. The Extreme with my long tubes sounds AWESOME :rockon6rk:

Long story short, I will always listen to Corvette Don from now on :yoda: (Hey, I'm a poet) :coffeetime:
