This is my 3rd vet over 35 years. 69 big block,63 split, 1993 LT1 coupe. Ready to retire. Thanks to Barret/Jackson, can't afford straight axle or midyear. Purchased the 93 in 9/06. 80K. Have not driven much. I noticed car runs a little hot at stop lights. Nothing new for a vet!! I have never heard aux. fans kick in. Is this a problem with the 93? Goes to approx 250 deg. Is there a problem with the aux fan relay?
Thanks for your help.

250 is too hot. secondary fan may not be coming on. should start at approx 230 and bring temps down.
the rads clog really bad on the c4. it's probably full of junk and needs to have the fins unclogged. they vacuum up everything off the road!!

Thanks for your advice. Should both aux. fans come on at the same time?

A 93 vette does not have aux fans.Primary fan is for temp of approx.230 will come on. Other fan will come on with a/c. Check front of condensor or in between condensor and radiator for bag or debris stuck in there. If temp over 230 try tapping on fan motor to see if it will come on.

Greetings. My 96 is also having fan trouble. They work fine with the AC on but dead with the AC off. Is the temp sensr really under the plenum? Can someone help?
