One last question before I get back to work! Are sway bars worth to get for the casual week end driver? I was looking at T1 bars.

No.For the casual weekend driver I would get more comfort mods.Like the window valet or a cushioned center console arm rest.Aftermarket exhaust or new wheels also make cruising more enjoyable

Agree. Once you start getting into more road courses then the sway bars will come in handy.

I have a friend who has the Hotchkis bars. He likes 'em and swears by them. Pfadt makes and adjustable one to?

For the street, changing sway bars will improve the cornering of your car and stiffen the ride a bit. In order of stiffness: Hotchkis, T1 and Pfadt racing. The latter two are generally for road race applications.

If you really want to improve the car's street handling you can go also to bilstein shocks and non run flat tires (Michelin PS 2s). Is it worth the money????? Not sure.

Man your like a answer dictionary! :D Heres one for you: Stiffening the suspension for a daily driver, does this put strain on other components of the car that may need upgrading later?

Rather, I'm an encyclopedia of useless info. But seriously folks, I don't see any reason why moderately stiffening your ride will cause other issues with your vette (operative word is "moderately").

The only thing to keep in mind, the stock vette is an awesome handing car and can easily handle more than you can legally get away with on the street.

The only reason I modded my handling was to road race my car on the track. If not for that, I'm not sure I would have bothered.

Agree, I have heard this from a few people, unless you plan to race this thing, save your money or spend it on more power!

Hmmm, well I'm on the fence. I would like to get into some track time this year but don't see myself as having a hard core urge to go to the track every weekend. This one I will need to consider further. Thanks everyone for your tips and input.
