I thinking about doing something with the body. Awhile back I remember seeing a black C5 with a wide body kit on it? The company who made it started with an "a"?? Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

I suspect your talking about their z11 kit. I am currently building a track car using acp body kit parts. The LG world challange car uses the acp kit.

They have some cool pieces for both the C5 and C6. Although looks like there are more C5 parts. $9999 for carbon fiber body for C6? I wonder how much weight reduction would that be from the fiberglass and poly?

That kit looks fantastic, bet you could get 345's on the rear with that lip the quarter panels would have.

Who makes that nose on your ride? That looks very good.

Tigershark front made byStarcraft. Many folks carry them, I purchased mine from Ligenfelter.

Kerry from ACP is really the expert on carbon vs. fiberglass. A full carbon body probably saves 75 to 90 lbs vs. fiberglass.

On my track car project I am using a carbon front nose, splitter and hood to lighten the front and to stiffen up the leading edge of the car. The carbon parts don't deflect as signficantly/change shape (like fiberglass often can) under wind load on the track and therefore creates superior down force. Vettes typically, have a slight bias towards weight up front, so we are more concerned with lightening up the front of the car.

For street use, I would stick to fiberglass. Less expensive and easier to paint.

That nose is bad to the bone! I don't plan to track the car so I will take the fiberglass route. Of the looks of things this is better I save some $! Have a great weekend

The Z11 body kit shown in their website is the style that's going on my track car. The hood I'm using is the louvered world challenge type.

Cool wide body kit, once done with college I would like to get a body like that. Cool looking rides here!
