I just purchased my first corvette a 1999 convertable. I am having a problem with the driverside head light motor not shuting off when the light is closed do you know if there is a limit switch ajustment let me know

Might be a relay that has gone bad. Just can't be a 100% sure though!

Obviously it is not recognizing that it is all the way closed and that I would say would be a sensor.

Is it making a really bad clicking noise for like 10 seconds after it is down? If so this is because the plastic gear in the headlight motor is worn out... VERY COMMON problem in the C5's and F-Bodies. If you are handy check out this repair kit: http://www.rodneydickman.com/retail_new.html

This will save you over $100. Otherwise if you call GM, I believe the wholesale cost was $150! I actually have one of the repair kits sitting on my desk here ready to be installed on my friends C5!
