Rotorthree 08-24-2008, 08:03 PM Hey Tim, Its me again. Found where you gave directions to reading the codes. Had a few history codes on my LDCM and RDCM. My SCM tells me no comm. I'm still trying to figure out that problem with my tele. steering and drivers seat not moving. Any suggestions? I've checked connections under the seat and all is good. Is this a sure failure of my SCM? tstar 08-25-2008, 12:38 AM With so many modules going south on you I'd start looking at what is common between them all. The ground comes to mind first! Second would be the STAR conenctors and the BCM in passenger footwell, have you checked in there for any water? All those modules are on the Driver's side, and as I recall all this happened as a result of you removing your Driver's seat right? I'd double and triple check the seat wirring to make sure nothing got pinched, nicked or cut... I would ; 1. Re-check all the wirring around where you were working. 2. Remove and clean the grounds!!!!!!! 3. Check for any water in the passenger footwell area. 4. make sure you have voltage at the SCM connector and all connections are tight. You did say you replaced it with a new one right? 5. Check the connectors in the door accordian in the hinge area. There is a ground there that is covered in clear plastic that is too short, this can drive you nuts if it's intermittantly contacting other wires. 6. Scratch your head and drink more Beer! Just don't invite Jim to help cuz that's all he does! THen before you know it, he's moved into your garage and you can't get rid of him!
