on my c4 (1988) when I am driving down the highway and hit a little bump on a curve the front end go sideways a little. I have new tires goodrich g force, and it did it with the old michlins. I have a new set of shocks tie rod ends, a new rack and pionion and a new power sterring pump. Is this normal on them. Thank you.

They are very sensitive, are you meaning bump steer?? Also you can have the caster set up to approx 3 degrees negative to help eliminate the dartiness, however i beleive that you should always make sure all other componants and alighnment are smack on before procceding beyond factory specs.

If EVERYTHING is adjusted right and the alignment is right you should NOT have the "darting". The suspension is awfully quick, especially if you have a Z51, but should not "dart" as you are describing. I would take it to a GOOD front end shop that knows their Corvettes and have them look it over.

I have an 85 Z51 and I NEVER lose it like that in a turn. My 87 never did that either. You should have a GOOD grip on the road.......a bump should not throw you off....unless maybe you're doing 120 on a washboard turn??:rofl:

Good choice on the tires.....I run nothing but the Goodrich G-Force .....good grip, good mileage, rain or shine.:friday:
