hey all i just traded my 03 2500hd duramax for a 99 vette 6 speed.
what do these cars run stock in the 1/4 and what is the top speed this car can reach? also i have a friend with a 3000gt vr4 that says he can eat vettes all day what are the chances of him beatin me when we line up next week?

Those VR4's are all wheel drive and stock about 300HP I think, off the line he should pull out and away, but I would bet from a rolling start it wouldn't be the same, I think the top speed of a coupe is about 186 MPH. Tell your friend I have an 02 Z06 that I'll run him with, of course not for less then a few ben franklins though...lol, and also from a 30 MPH roll, since he is all wheel drive

hahah yo man get yourself a cold air intake for about 300 dollars pick up at least 20hp you'll kick his ***.

i just ordered the hypertech programer, k&n intake, b&m shifter and im having my mufflers cut off and putting straight pipes with 4" tips this week where will that put me for Power?

yes it is the cold air. im putting it in tomorrow after work. directions look like it should be fun! also ill probably be putting the b&m shifter in tomorrow with a white hurst knob. its kinda weird to hear b&m bought hurst and mcloud.and the exaust and programer should be in by friday! does anyone have an estimated hp and tourque ##s?

i just put the ss magnaflow cat back system and so if i put the k&N coldair could i feel the differnce or not really?

i put the intake first. it was a total diff. it kept me happy for about 3 days! im screwy i always need more! but u will deff notice a diff. BTW is your car auto or stick?

Is that a stock 3000gt vr4 or has it been tricked out?
