Hi, hope someone can help me with this. I have a 1987 C4 with 19K original miles and it started about 2 years ago, if the car got hot it would not start (sometimes), you could let it cool off and it would start and run just fine. All the lights and accessories work but the starter does nothing, just like its dead. I installed a new starter just in case. I just picked up the car from the Chev dealer and they don't have a clue, I'm not sure if they know what a C4 Corvette is????? The servise wrighter drove the car and after about 20 minutes being parked he went back and it would not start, but the mechanics wasn't there to look at it and by the time he got back it started. So they tryed to get it to do it again over a 10 day period and one morning it would not start and by the time he got back to the car to hook it up to the computer it started again and had no warning codes!!!! So I picked the car up and put gas in it and everytime I tryed to start it, it worked fine. I went to drive it to work this morning and once again it would not start!!!! both hot or cold it will not start sometimes. I'm at a lose and need some HELP, I live in Boise, Idaho and would like to find a good Vette mechanic. PLEASE HELP

Thanks Gary :confused:I forgot to say its a 4T3 trans. We were talking about it here at work and we thought it might be the clutch safety switch, it does the same thing if you don't push down the clutch. So we took out the carpet so it would go down futher and so far its started every time. If this work i'll post it and let everyone know.
